"A beautiful pair of classic Polish "petticoat" style Sabbath Candlesticks. Each with a bulbous stem chased at intervals with foliate bands set on a square base. Set above and below with skirted foliate knops. The candleholder of pear form, with bobeche. Late 19th Century. Marked: "Norblin & Co., GALW, Warszawa" and the Polish Eagle stamp. They are 12 1/4 inches high". These were obtained at an old estate auction and the above description was featured on another web site w these exact candlesticks were selling for $1950.00 so I cut my price by more than half because t is a small dent on top part of one candlestick and some tiny ones around the base. They look brass but polished to a silverplate finish in one spot so they were left unpolished to keep original look until you decide. I am no antique expert so my ignorance is your gain. If anyone one requires more photos, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by!
