Antique handcrafted table lamp, with a round wooden oak base and sailor's fancy rope work around the base and up the shaft of the lamp. This lamp is 14 inches tall to the top of the ropework on the shaft. The wood base is 8 1/4 inches in diameter. The rope work has an original dark brown, possibly painted, finish on it. Note that this lamp needs to be rewired - the original working switch and worn lamp harp is included, but none of the original wiring. The oak wood base of this lamp has some age checks; the bottom of the base has a groove for the lamp cord. The ropework is in excellent condition. This lamp has a great nautical look and would naturally fit with the decor of any beach house or coastal cottage. NOTE : We have a new category in our store: Coastal Vintage .
