Truely a wonderful and stunning very early small mannequin that was perhaps a salesmans sample for larger full size models or window display or even for dolls dresses and I am guessing from construction and materials that it is from the very early 1900's at latest and has appearance of being French but not marked. The material was machine sewn everyw except for the side which were finished by hand when attached to core. Hard to say without taking the cloth off but I believe the inside is wood. It has a cast metal base or stand with rod to adjust the form higher or lower. The base is 6 1/8" across and 1 1/4" high. The rod threads into base and stands 17 1/2" above the base so the mannequin could be adjusted to that height if desired. T is a spring at base so form could not slide down with a bang against the base. The form is ever so elegant and measures 4" x 6 1/4" across base x 21 1/4" tall. This does not include the clamp device mounted to it or the cast metal base. It is 18 1/2" around the bust area, 13 1/2" around waist, 18 1/2" around hips and almost 7" around neck. It is in excellent condition except a few small stains that can be seen but nothing has been done to try removing them. This is fresh from an estate and new to the market. It is very high quality and t are no tears or holes in the material.

Please be advised that I am now notifying winners within hours of auction end thru ebays "send invoice to buyer" system so t is no way you will not receive full payment instructions. Please do not use the checkout feature unless you have not heard from me in 24 hours. Packing: When shipping paper items, they are protected by plastic bag and placed between 2 pieces of cardstock and placed inside a priority mail flat rate or a manila envelope. Additionally, a note saying "Please Do Not Bend" is written in marker on the envelope. All items that are boxed go individually in plastic bags, are wrapped in newspaper with newspaper packing all around in stiff cardboard boxes.
