Offered for your consideration is this Fabulous Blue Decorated Salt Glazed Stoneware Butter Crock. (Probably Ohio) It boasts gorgeous swag draped panels and wild rose fleurettes on the cover knob and w the wire for the bail handle would attach on the base. It is astounding condition with no chips, crazing, or repairs. ABSOLUTELY MINT! It measures a diminutive 5.25" tall and 5.75" in diameter. Very Cute Small Size! Dating between 1880 and 1910. The only issue I can find is that it is missing its bail handle. Certainly an easy enough thing to replace. Don't hesitate to add this fabulous butter crock to your stoneware collection.
