This is a 1880s unmarked western “half-seat” saddle in good condition. Note how little wear the chinch rings have. Saddle has a Cheyenne Roll cantle binding, and the very desirable “Sam Stagg rigging”. Leather is in supple shape. Has a 15" seat. The sheepskin lining is a little rough, easy to replace. The saddle has never been relined. The leather is not hard, pretty supple for it’s age. Good dark brown color. SHIPS by UPS USA ONLY Payment is due within 3 days or I may re-list the piece! Study the pictures before bidding, and ask questions if you are unclear about anything, be sure item is what you want before purchasing, because I DO NOT take returns. We described things as best we can but we are not experts in every field. You may know more about the item then we do. You are the judge as to quality and value. I try to list several new items every few days, so keep checking my listings that include many early Cowboy, Cowgirl and Mexican pieces selling all the time. I’m located in Santa Fe, NM.
