Found in a New England estate is this sewing sampler from the 1800's. Nellie B. Harris made this antique sewing skill sampler. It is 18 ½" long by 8" wide and is the shape of a woman's dress sleeve. The sampler includes all the stitches she would have known how to make, including: embroidery, tucking, gathering, button holes, hem stitching, blind stitching, finish stitching, four different types of squares for quilting or how to patch an item, and much more. This is made of plain off-white cotton and striped fabric and would be incredible in a frame. I have not cleaned this. US shipping is $3. This is a smoke free but not pet free home.
