Original antique c.1910 Pathé sapphire stylus for Hill and Dale vertical cut records. Also good for 2-minute cylinders. Very good condition, never used. SCAN IS GREATLY ENLARGED (and is 600 dpi). ACTUAL SIZE IS 14 mm or a little under 9/16" FROM SAPPHIRE BALL TO THE TIP OF THE OTHER END. Shipping: $1.50 to US addresses, $2.50 to foreign addresses. From the personal collection of Édouard Pécourt, who lived in Gretz, Seine et Marne, for many years before retiring to Oregon, USA in 1986. He was a well-known phonograph & record collector/dealer from the 1950s until his retirement, and owner of the quaint little shop "La Boite a Disques" on rue du Louvre, Paris for 32 years. He was also a certified national phonograph "expert" for auctions and customs. Now Mr. Pécourt is ailing and turning over many items from his collections to his wife, Jocelyn Howells, to find new homes for his treasures through eBay.
