This is a very nice ring that needs some TLC. I bought the ring at an auction and had a chance to talk to the owner, I was told that the stones are real, but I can't say for sure if they are or not. As you can see t is a large blue stone, maybe a sapphire? and what should be 4 small clear stones, maybe diamonds? and two of those stones are a little cloudy. It is marked 10K on the inside of the band and t is a stone missing on the side, when I looked at it with my loupe I could see that the tip of a prong is missing, so that's probably why the stone is missing. I also noticed two other prongs that need to be rebuilt....they're a little worn. The blue stone is a nice size it measures 3/8" long and a little over 1/4" wide, I also seen with my loupe that this stone does have some wear to it and a very small chip, maybe this could be buffed out by a jeweler and the stone is a little loose in the setting. With some TLC this ring could be ready to wear, right now "as is" it looks great worn on the finger, the stone is a lovely deep blue which really pops out at you! Its been well loved and now needs a new home and some TLC after all these years. Before bidding you might want to talk to a jeweler to find out how much it will cost to have prongs rebuilt, so you won't have any surprises. The ring is a size 7.
