Antique school desk ink wells. I am fairly certain that is what these were used for. They are wider at the top to set down in the hole in the desk. One and three quarter inches wide and two and one quarter inches tall. I do not know if the corks are original this is the way I found them. Also I did not clean the dried ink from the inside that would be your choice. Any questions please ask.
