Circa mid 1900's School Desks. Two desks with end row seat Desk wood is solid Maple with beautiful iron supports and legs, very sturdy. Manufacturer is Minneapolis, O & S. F. Co. The black paint has worn off on parts of the iron, easy fix. The wood is in very good condition with the exception of staining of the wood on the end row seat. I did try to sand down to clean wood but gave up. I think the stain is fairly deep. T are initials carved in the top of one of the desk tops, but they are small and light, easy to sand down. The desks have holes for ink wells, slots for a pen or pencil and compartment underneath the top. Structurally the desks are in excellent condition and very sturdy.
