Really interesting antique bills of sales and log books on various schooners (sometimes spelled "schuner") from 1813 to 1832, almost all from the Plymouth and Barnstable, Mass. area. All of these are in "as is" condition as some of them are almost 200 years old--- The earliest pieces have the old "esses" printed like f's. Log books for mainly fish boats mention deliverance of other goods such as lumber, nails and RUM-- Each captain's name is on the individual log book. Following are the names of each of the "schuners", their size, owners and sellers, dates of sale, and log books: 1817 "Polly",D.Cornish,Wm.Stephens,Plymouth; "Enterprize",1815,same as above; "Seaflower",1832,Elkanah Bartlett,Plymouth; "Seaflower",1832, K.Bartlett,Wm.Stephens; "Coral",1837,Cornish,jr.,Wm.Clark; 1814,"Katey",J.Wing,J.Nye,Barnstable. Hope this gives you some idea of what is entailed , a lot of American maritime history. In reading these "sales" one ship mentioned was made in 1785-- Most of the log books measure 3-1/2" by 6".
