A Silver Agate Brooch - Scottish Traditional form This is a beautiful silver Lovers Knot brooch or pin incorporating a bar of agate. The piece of polished agate has an octagonal cross section within a Knot of chased silver . The brooch measures around 48mm by 26mm. The hinge barrel , pin and period C clasp are all in excellent condition.
