Fine, a ntique, Scottish, walnut linen press/chest on chest circa 1890 . Fine quality, antique, Scottish walnut linen press/ chest on chest, in the Asthetic Movement style, circa 1890. To the top is a shaped cornice, to the center is a carved door, in the Asthetic Movement style with an urn containing stylized flowers, the door is flanked by a pair of shaped and beveled mirrors that are etched and engraved with a floral design, the door encloses two shelves. The base has two short drawers above three graduated drawers, all have brass handles, the linen press stands on bracket feet. Condition is outstanding, all original, no damage or repair, a large piece of antique furniture; 81" tall x 46" wide base is 18.5" deep, the top is 14" deep.
