I am taking a guess and saying that this phone is German. It is marked on the ear piece EMGEPHON. I could find no other marks on the phone. The wood bell box has 4 screws to remove the metal back. I have not removed it so I do not know what is inside. The front of the bell box has an A in a circle and a push button. I am calling this a servants phone because it is very much like a servants phone which I sold years ago. The cord is in very good condition with no fraying. The mouth piece on the handle is missing the top of the speaker cup. The wood handle has some paint loss on the back side and has a push bar on the inside of the handle. This phone appears to be in very good restorable condition and it displays nicely. The bell box measures approx. 3 x 4 inches. The cord is approx. 37 inches long and the handle is 11 inches long.
