Fresh from a local estate and up for auction is this complete set of 40 vintage ship signal flags in very good condition. I do not know the maker or exact time period these are from but these flags are marked with asian writing as well as being numbered and being marked A thru Z. These signal flags look to have been never used, but a couple of them of them have very, very light stains from storage since this happens with vintage fabric over time. This is very hard to see, but I am mentioning it since it is t These flags really are in nice condition and have no rips or holes. Also found with these signal flags and included in this auction is a nautical 48 star U.S. Flag. It measures 31"L x 17"W. It appears to have been used with light staining and darkening with age. T is writing on one end that appears to say U.S. ENSIGN SET NO 12 P.S.N.Y. ? Maybe someone out t has an idea what time frame these flags date from and the maker. They do have some age on them and are not new. This is a nice lot of items up for auction with no reserve and being sold as is! Items have been described as accurately as possible!
