You are bidding on an Antique Tall Case Longcase Grandfather Clock. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and was VERY WELL made by Seth Thomas Clock Company who has made some of the HIGHEST quality clocks for well over the past 100 years. Its a beautiful full size grandfather clock with nice arched pediment and finial carved at the center. The works are engraved with the Seth Thomas logo in black script on the dial as well as branded in the back. This clock is LOADED with all the goodies and a beautiful glass case and sits on nice curved bracket feet. We are not sure of its age so please make your own determination but its says Movement- A407-001 on the back of the brass plate sticker with engraved logo on the face. This has a pendulum with 3 weights and a beautiful Dial with a face that is nicely decorated with floral lattice work at each corner. I am not to familiar with clocks and this came from a private estate and I am no clock expert so if you have any questions about it internally I probably wont know but I do know the inside is all t, in tact, all original and will need to be retuned after shipment but does work and has a beautiful chime with different hammers that bang on these cylinder shaped tubes so I believe it plays various tunes from what we were told by the previous owners and not sure of the different chimes. The clock has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that you can find today but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape.
