Antique Seth Thomas Clock Offering a beautiful Seth Thomas 8 day adamantine clock known as the "Petrel" model. This circa 1900 clock strikes a melodious gong for the hour and a delightful cup bell for the half-hour. This stunning black clock has green adamantine trim and top which is enhanced by the gold colored lion heads and fancy feet. A distinctive gold incised decoration is found on the front. This clock is powered by the powerful Seth Thomas 89C movement. This movement has been completely disassembled for service. It has been cleaned, pivots polished, new bushings installed where needed, adjusted and lubricated. This clock is in great running condition! The case has been cleaned and polished to a high luster. The metal parts have been cleaned and professionally painted. The case has minimal scratches and wear. The original dial is slightly yellowed with age. Clock measures 10 3/4" high by 16 1/2" wide and nearly 7" deep. A key and adjustable pendulum are provided for full operation.
