UP FOR BID Stunning & Beautiful! "Adamantine case" Ca 1896 Seth Thomas “library or salon ” clock . The craftsmanship and charm of this original quality American time piece made by the famous "Seth Thomas clock company" will impress. This clock has been restored to its former glory without touching the original burr walnut Adamantine finishing .The date on the case bottom showing 1896 . All ornaments cleaned and re-gilded in a lovely old gold finish. The "reeded" columns are in beautiful condition. . Restoring these clocks is a labour of love and many hours have been spend but as the pictures show the end product is just magnificent. This clock would look good in any interior either in a period setting or in your trendy apartment where it will be a stunning conversation piece. The clock has been running 1weeks now and keeps good time and chimes on half hours and full hours on a deep resonating gong. Winding key ,pendulum and back cover are included . Measures: wide 12 1/4", high 11 1/2" and 6" deep.
