I have decided to sell part of my personal collection of folk art and shaker items. This is a signed Sabbathday lake Maine shaker four-finger sewing box/basket from the second half of the 19 th century. It retains its original silk interior lining and has the Sabbathday lake, Maine shaker stamp on the bottom. Condition is excellent. Original handle and fasteners. Maple sides, pine bottom copper tacks, wooden pegs. All original. Dimensions: 9 ½ inches long by 6 inches wide by 3 ½ inches deep. No reserve!
