Offered in this sale is a big, bold and impressive early English flow blue ironstone china platter decorated with the SHANGHAE pattern that was made by Jacob Furnival in the mid 1800s. It measures roughly 16 1/2" long x 12 3/4" wide and weighs more than 4.5 pounds! It is marked on the back with the printed stamp with the name of the pattern which you can see illustrated in the second image. The condition is excellent.
