is a teapot made by the Shawnee Pottery Company. It is their " flower & Fern teapt and has gold trim. It's marked USA on the bottom. T are no cracks and one chip that is on the inside of the lid (it can't be seen when the lid is on.). T is some wear to the gold on the teapot. The Shawnee Pottery Company was started in 1937 and closed it doors in 1961. That makes this item at least 46 years old!!! The 2004 Shawnee Pottery Book (Mangus) puts a value of $40 to $45 on the teapot without the gold !!!! Good luck bidding !!!!!!!!!!!!! This auction ends on the 10th of sept. and I leave for Vegas on the 11th for 5 days. If the item is paid for on the 10th after the auction I can have it into the mail on the 11th before I leave. If not it will be sent out after I get back from vegas. I use bubble wrap and packing peanuts to keep the weight down and I charge only the shipping and insurance that usps says it takes to send it priority. (No handling or hidden fees)
