Wonderful Celluloid box with shaving mug and brush!
Box about 3 1/2" tall. Base about 6 x 6 3/4". Lovely picture of courting scene.
Celluloid top is lifting along front and part of sides with 4 tears that so far don't go into the scene. Rest of box has some staining and damage as shown in the pictures.
Clasp intact.
Inside fabric has some discoloration and a few thin parts but I don't find any holes or tears! Molded area for the cup to sit and holder for the brush to rest.
Porcelain Shaving Cup: about 2" tall and about 3" diameter. No markings. Some gold wear along top rim. Nice molding and lovely flowers. No chips, hairlines or any damage or known repairs.
Shaving brush: about 3 1/2" long. Base diameter about 1 1/8". Blue base marked "STERILIZED PURE BADGER 9 " on one side, opposite side "EVER-READY SET IN RUBBER 100NN". Looks like never used.
