Welcome and Thanks for visiting my auctions.This item is a STUNNING piece of work.This item is a Sheffield Paul Revere Non-Electric Chandelier.It is marked with the horse and rider and on the left of that is a set of crossed keys,on the right is a crown,above the horse and rider is the name Sheffield.It is numbered 472.This AWESOME massive piece measures a total of 52" long from ceiling to bottom.The chandelier body without the chain or ceiling cap measures 21".It has a total span of 25" across.T are 10 removable arms.I believe the piece to be late 1800's or early 1900's.It features a Beautiful raised leaf design and the scroll work around all the edges and the bobeche edges feature ivy leaves as well as flowers and other scrolling designs.9 of the Bobeches are original,t is 1 odd bobeche and I have pictured it for you.4 of the bobeches have the metal insert that slides inside them to form a drip ring for the wax,5 of them are missing but just looking at it you can't tell they are not tT are a couple slight dings in it.1 is in the ceiling cap and t is a very fine shallow dent in the ball at the bottom.The scroll work around the ceiling cap is bent in very slightly in a couple places.I have pictured this with arrows so you can tell.These can easily be pulled out without causing any damage.This is just an AWESOME piece.T is really NO plating damage to speak of except under one of the bobeches,I have pictured it as well.It does not show at all when the bobeche is on it.This piece just really displays Beautifully! It is very heavy!!!Other than the little bit of damage I mentioned it is in Beautiful condition.NONE of the items mention detracts from it's beauty.You can't even see any of them when it is hanging!The pictures just don't do this piece justice.I have a tendency to make things sound worse than they actually are.I just don't want any surprises! Check out my feedback and you will see that many of my customers have mentioned that the item was much better than described! You won't be disappointed.I really hate to part with this beautiful piece but it is too big for my house and I need remodeling funds worse than I need the piece.Just a very lovely piece. .If you need closer pics PLEASE feel free to e-mail me BEFORE bidding and I will get them to you.
