Here is a great old Townsend fence stretcher made by Sheldon Wells Co. Kinzua, PA. Kinzua ceased to exist in the mid 1960's with the building of Kinzua Dam. This fence stretcher is in great condition and appears to be all original. Please examin the photographs. The stretcher is somewhat weathered but is still solid. All markings are very clear on both sides of the top of the handle and both sides of the iron clamp. The unit is about 36 1/2 inches long. Again, the townsend fence stretcher is in great shape. Of course, the green wire clothes line wire was used to hang the fence stretcher from a wall. This is a nice vintage agricultural piece. Questions? Please contact me. Thanks for looking. Shipping charge is for the 48 states only. Others charged by postal code.
