Early Shell motor oil bottle, one quart, very nice condition. I have included many photos, using two different backgrounds, so you can get a good look at this bottle (clear bottles are difficult to photograph!). The bottle condition is very good, one very small nick on the lower/front side (see last photo). NO cracks, very little case wear and very few minor scratches. The glass is not "clouded" and it is fairly clean (a small amount of dirt in the bottom). The bottle has the following raised lettering, from top to bottom: LIQUID CONTENTS-ONE QUART, FILL TO LINE, SHELL, SHELL-PENN MOTOR OIL, 100% Pure Pennsylvania, SHELL PETROLEUM CORPORATION, GUARANTEED DELIVERS ONE QUART. Measurements: 14-1/2" tall, base diameter 3", top diameter 1-3/4". Weight BEFORE packaging to ship 1 pound-12 ounces. Shipping weight will approach 3 pounds. Low start & no dreaded reserve.
