Offering here a wonderful ANTIQUE BOAT STEERING WHEEL . Measures 15" diameter, and protrudes 4" from base. Wheel is made of a rosy brass that is patinating verdi gris green. Base and stem, as well as handle-connecting hardware are iron. Handles are wooden; I'm not sure of what kind of wood. CONDITION~~Metal is all intact without cracks, breaks or warps. Handles are securely attached. All of the handles are dry, and the finish is nearly gone. One handle has a length-wise crack (no missing chunks of wood) that would need gluing and clamping if used for anything other than display. Wheel does not turn at this time, so needs to be loosened up. Makes a fantastic antique appearance for decor or display, but could be restored to actual use status fairly easily. Thank you.
