I don't know much about this lamp other than the fact that it is older than me (1950). It was in the house I grew up in. Frankly, it's a little grungy and needs a professional cleaning. I've watched the roadshow often enough to know that an antique can be ruined forever by incorrect cleaning. Still, it is in very good condition, all things considered. T is one, and ONLY one, modification I can report. In the 60's I replaced the three broken/missing glass ( or mica ? ) lenses with colored plastic pieces. If I made that repair today, I'd get some glass from a stained glass craftsman or leave them out completely. The heat from the lamp is enough to melt the plastic. The light bulb has never been changed in my lifetime but still works. The measurements of the lamp are: Height: 11 5/8" length: 13 1/8" width 4 1/8". The lamp will be wrapped and shipped as carefully as possible. The deck and sails have been disassembled (two screws). I'm confident that the lamp will arrive in better condition if it's shipped this way. The light bulb is packed separately. Packaging and shipping will total $10.00 for US delivery. Please e-mail me separately for shipping costs outside the US. Thanks for looking and good luck !
