Beautiful Piece of History ~ Early 1920-1930's Antique All Oak Shoe Shine Bench.Stool with Tapestry Padded Top with Pull out Drawer I couldn't pass this up at the last estate auction I went to. It was just too pretty. The wood is heavy, solid oak. As you can see by the pictures, it is in wonderful condition. The tapestry is obviously worn but everything on this fantastic Shoe Shine Box is original, even the hardware. It still contains the old brushes & polish (email me if you'd like to know the names of the brushes, etc.) It measures 16" high, 12" across & 14" deep. T are paint spatters on the box, which I will try to remove before you receive it, but if not.... I'll leave that up to you. T is the number 579 on the underside of the box but nothing else to identify the maker. I will be shipping this Fed Ex for US bidders so please email me with your zip code so I can give you an exact quote.
