This sale is for an antique oak side by side with a bow front bookcase and drop leaf desk.
This side by side is all original and has a great patina. The bookcase has a bow front glass door and a drop leaf desk. The measurements are as follows: The piece is 40 1/2 inches wide. The bow front bookcase is 16 1/2 inches wide. This bookcase has 4 shelves plus the bottom. The four shelves are removable. The shelves are 13 inches deep. The desk side is 21 inches wide inside. The fold down door is 14 1/2 inches tall. There is a leaded glass door above the desk. The following is what I have found wrong with this piece. The leaded glass door above desk hangs a bit and rubs it's bottom. The drop leaf desk has some red ink or something inside on the writing surface. The three drawers under the desk are curved and covered with veneer which has some cracking. The leaded glass in the door above desk is also a little bowed. The mirror on top is beveled and is in good shape but is not perfect. The pigeon hole parts inside desk is missing a small oak piece but would be a easy repair. The sides of this piece are solid oak and in good shape. Make no mistake this piece needs a little work but is well worth the money. Questions are always welcome and thanks for looking.
