Sold For:

OFFERED: This antique signed Handel Urn table lamp base is being sold "AS IS" in very fine used condition. The bottom portion of the Urn column body is decorated with a series of large raised tapered flutes above the smooth spreading square foot. The tapered neck supports a ball cluster body and shade riser with three rare original brass pull chain sockets with bell pulls that are stamped PAISTE, not the typical Hubbell sockets. The bell pulls are identical to ones illustrated in the noted reference book, Handel Lamps, Shades and Glassware. The original bronzed deep red and black mottled finish is in excellent condition and very appealing. The name Handel is stamped on the side of the square foot. The lamp base measures 7 3/4" in diameter and 22 3/4" in overall height and weighs 12 pounds. Please note that the measurements and weight are approximate. This handsome antique signed HANDEL table lamp base will be packaged in the most careful manner possible to insure that your new purchase will be delivered undamaged. Handling, packaging, shipping and mandatory insurance charges will be determined after the auction has ended based on handling, packaging, weight, location and shipping arrangements. I prefer to ship Fedex Ground to prevent possible shipping damage and the arbitrary imposition of additional fees and fuel surcharges. Michigan residents pay 6% Michigan State Sales Tax or provide a photocopy of your current Michigan Sales Tax License Exemption Number.I ship to the continental United States and Canada but will not ship internationally due to the fragile nature of this antique lighting fixture. I attempt to describe each item to the best of my ability accurately, fairly and honestly. Please contact the Seller regarding questions through Ebay before bidding. Thank you for looking at my offering. Good luck with your bid. Teri Arthur Jefferson, Prince of Lights
