Up for auction is a 1854 Silver United States 50 Cents, Half Dollar Love Token. It is engrave on the obverse with what appeasers to be "Mr Mrs. P Cole"? also 1846-1876. The reverse has some pin or nail engraving initials that I am unable to make out. It has very nice peripheral steel blue and amber original toning. Using the grading standards of the American Numismatic Association it makes a grade of Choice Almost Uncirculated details. The engraving does not detract from the grade but does effect a subjective opinion about the value of the coin. This a no reserve piece so you get to choose what the value is to you.
