Please read before bidding, Thankyou ( To help you feel confident in your choice, look back at my feedback as to my honesty & integrity as a seller of these antique pocket watches), thanks **For auction today is this Antique, Large heavy Gents Solid Silver, English Full Plate Lever Pocket watch, with an antique solid silver albert chain & antique solid silver double sided uninscribed fob medal, sold altogether with a period, clip type, brass & steel winding key, size number 9. This is a superb fully functioning and working Victorian pocket watch dated 1901. I must stress please enlarge, zoom in & take a good look at my photo's as they're a large part of my description, thanks Description: The pocket watch is working and ticks away lovely, ( I wound it yesterday and it was still running when i took these photos today,has been oiled, cleaned & serviced & it runs strongly ) It is hallmarked with the lion passant for 0.925 sterling silver, the 3 wheatsheafs for Chester, the letter "A" for 1901 and the makers initials T. P. H. for Thomas Peter Hewett, he was Managing Director of The Lancashire Watch Company so this is probably who made the movement too.
