For Auction: Large Silver Coloured Square Cake Stand or Mirrored Plateau Dimensions: 500mm square at the base. Bevelled mirror top is 380mm square. Height is 125mm. This is a rare attic find! A lovely large, believed to be antique, cake stand ideal for weddings and other special occasions. This item does show signs of wear. It has been used but is still very presentable. Mirror top is bevelled at the edges and intact. The body has an engraved pattern/shield with space left for a name or logo to be engraved inside. Nothing is loose or rattles, it sits squarely on a flat surface etc via 4 attractive and secure legs. Believed to be Silver/Silver plate but could also be Pewter. I am no expert. Cannot find any hall marks/stamps but again I am no expert. I have not polished this item. Included in the auction is a sturdy wooden box as seen in the last picture. This item is available to view before the auction end, in the evenings and weekend. Item is located near Caterham, M25 Junction 6, is 10 mins away. Postcode CR3 7BJ. Please take the time to view the pictures and satify yourself with the item if you wish to bid. Item is heavy and contains a mirror. Therefore I will not post it.
