ANTIQUE SILVER CARPENTER PENCIL / RULER (1900) This is wonderful silver cased carpenter's pencil one side is engraved as a ruler measuring 3inches on the other side is hallmarked with the initials H G & S LTD for Henry Griffith & Son's, the lion passat for silver and the shield for Chester and R for 1900. On the end of the case is a suspension ring and it is obviously 3 inches in length. There are some age related dings and dents as you would expect with age as shown on photo's but is still a lovely example of a tool used going back to the 1900's. Check out my other items !
