Antique Silver & Crystal Swan Salt Cellar Retractable Wings 800 Silver circa early 1900sEstate Sale Purchase Up for Auction: A Finely Detailed Silver and Crystal Swan Salt Cellar w/ Retractable Wings - Used - No Reserve! PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING. We try to provide enough information & photos for you to accurately evaluate the item. If you have any questions about this item - please ask before bidding. DESCRIPTION: This Elegant Open Swan Salt Cellar is in Very Good+ - Used condition . It is stamped 800 on the head the neck has with fine crosshatching & feathers (see photo). It has a patina from age and could use a good polishing if you prefer a more shiny silver. The body measures 2 1/2" long X 2 1/2" tall . It comes in two pieces and weighs a total of 2.7 oz. (silver swan top - 1 oz. & crystal body 1.7 oz.) It has retractable wings . The base of the salt is cut and polished and it does not have any chips, cracks, flea bites, repair or damage of any kind. It does have some small surface scratches. It was purchased at an estate sale of a very elderly women that collected fine antiques. Please see photos! Note: This is an older salt cellar and is more finely detailed compared to a number of other swans that I have seen listed. Email any questions! PAYMENT: PayPal preferred (required for all International transactions) - we will accept Money Orders/Cashierâe(tm)s Checks. We do not accept Personal Checks at this time. Insurance is highly recommended. If you choose to not insure, we cannot be responsible for any damage to the contents or lost packages due to shipping. Money Orders/Cashier's Checks, must clear before shipping. If paying by money order/cashierâe(tm)s check, let us know and we will forward you the mailing address. Upon winning the bid, you will receive an automated invoice. Please do not send payment until you receive your final invoice.
