Antique hand carved cameo bracelet. The bracelet has 7 rectangular shaped cameos depicting 7 Gods from Greek mythology also known as 7 days of the week bracelet. Each cameo is bezel set in 800 silver and has a gold rope border. The bracelet measures 6 1/2" long and is in good vintage condition.If you are not familiar with Greek mythology this is a list of what each cameo on the bracelet represents.1. Monday - Artemis (Diana), Goddess of the Hunt (Chase), chariot pulled by slaves.2. Tuesday - Ares (Mars), God of War, chariot pulled by stallions.3. Wednesday - Hermes (Mercury), God of Trade, Messenger for the Gods, chariot pulled by roosters4. Thursday - Zeus (Jupiter), King and Father of Gods, chariot pulled by swans.5. Friday - Aphrodite (Venus), Goddess of Beauty and Love, chariot pulled by doves.6. Saturday - Cronus (Saturn), Eldest of the Gods, God of Agriculture, chariot pulled by snakes.7.
