Beautiful Antique Silver Needle Case. Beautiful & elegant relief decoration with a wonderfully detailed scrolling & foliate design. Hallmark stamped to one side. (please see pics.) English Hallmarks of Anchor, Lion and date letter 'o' for Birmingham 1913. Maker's mark E. S. B. for Edward Souter Barnsley & Co Excellent quality needle case and a pleasure to handle. Fully functional, with good tight fitting lid. (please see pics.) 7.7g in weight. 2.5 inches long (6cm long) GOOD ANTIQUE & USED CONDITION Totally original & fresh to the market. No breaks, splits or restoration. Antique, used & pre-owned, so some light signs of age & use only. (please see pics.) There are occassional very light marks,very minor bumps to the surface, with some light & minor,but visible rubbing to the hallmarks. The 'B' of the maker's mark is rubbed & quite indistinct. (please see pics.) Otherwise it is very good throughout & displays beautifully. (please see pics.)
