I am selling a large number of non-working pocket watches I inherited from my grandfather who passed away in 1985. � All of these pocket watches are not working and may have parts or cogs missing.� Please see my other items as I am having a clear-out.� This auction is for a: � Brown Bros - Coventry Pocket watch. The clock face is discoloured yellow with age Please note that the hands are very rusty � Clock face Diamtere: 4.5cm � Overall diametre: 5.2cm Inside the back casing is a number of hallmarks including a lion, a shield, a "0" and the number '10857' as well as 'IH' and '11' as far as I can make out.There is also a hall mark on the handle - seen on the penultimate photo. � Rather better and a much rarer example than the average ex-military pocket watch. � Roman numerals � Please study the photographs carefully, since they are an integral part of the description. � Antique and vintage watches need servicing, even if they are listed as running, and unless otherwise stated they may need cleaning or other adjustments or maintenance. � More often than not, covers can be stiff to remove, and may require a sharp blade to flick open. This is normal, and not a fault.
