Antique Silver Striped Charro Bit (Pancho Villa Era) This is a silver striped charro bit. Hand forged by a blacksmith and hand inlayed silver stripes put in by a silver craftsmith. The conchos are old silver coins, I can not read anything on them just see the edge markings on them both knowing that they were silver coins that I had compared full readable silver coins with. It has a 4 1/4" Mouth with 6 hand inlayed copper bars. It has 6 1/2" cheeks. The copper bars that were on the lower port ar just worn away with time and use. It has a 3 way chin chain and rein chains. All of the chains are hand made. It has a leather headstall with old black and white hand made rope reins with some newer black leather braiding. This type of bit was very popular during the Mexican Revolution. This is very difficult to put a date on this bit. SHIPPING WILL BE $15.00 U.S.D. TO THE LOWER 48 UNITED STATES AND CANADA.
