No Reserves on ANY of my auctions!! Whale Oil Lamp
Country Store Antiques Gallery Item: I found two of these lamps at an auction w the consignor brought a truckload of antiques from Maine, and am listing both of them today in separate auctions. When I bought this, t was a sticker on the bottom saying it was a "Skirted Petticoat" lamp, that it has "Pickwick Burners", and that it dated to the early 1800's. I don't have any way to confirm this information, so please bid accordingly. is a look at the other side. Note that the double wick holder unscrews as does the fill spout cap next to it... The bottom has an insert that will allow this to set nicely in a candle holder... I don't know if it means anything to anyone or not, but one of these has a sticker on the bottom saying it was from the Maynard Yerxa collection. A Fine old piece for your collection, and a Great addition to your mantle! Age: Uncertain, it is not dated, but the previous owner had a sticker on it saying it was from the early 1800's. Size: 4 ½" tall Condition: T is some moderate loss of the black coloring, and only one or two very small dents. T are no wicks in the holder, but both the wick holder and the fill cap unscrew easily. Shipping: See shipping calculator, cost based on an estimated packaged weight of 8 ounces and a box size of 7" by 7" by 6". If you win more than one item, please wait for my invoice with a combined shipping cost so you don't overpay. Note: If you need a pair of them, bid on Both that I have listed today! And the Ever Popular Fine Print! The Shipping charge includes Shipping, Handling, and Insurance within the United States.
