INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS : PAYPAL ONLY ~ DUE WITH IN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE! FABULOUS ANTIQUE SLAG GLASS LAMP ~ FOOTED WITH SPECTACULAR IGUANAS OR LIZARDS ! This was an absolute had to have at a recent estate dispersal of many wonderful and delightful antique items! Outstanding workmanship...never before have I seen the glass so solid in it's frame, the intricate scene on the brass body done so well, nor the overall condition as good as this one! Right out of the Indiana Jones era...in fact, one that I think he would be proud to own! We have a shade that is framed with brass floral work ...solid and strong. We have slag glass that is all matching, original and shows no signs of ever being changed out or repaired...in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or mars. Add to that a wonderful electrical system that is in working order with a pull chain for on and off. Then let's talk about the base. A fabulous, although somewhat gruesome perhaps, scene of a hyena , a lion devouring a man and living in the jungle ...along with our exotic iguana's or lizards for the feet...each with jeweled eyes...some white , some red . No breaks, repairs, dents or issues. An awesome one of a kind piece. We have examined the piece extensively and find no makers marks, however, that does not mean we missed something! Perhaps your will recognize this type of work. Stands about 20" tall overall. Ask questions if you have them...will be carefully packed and shipped promptly upon confirmation of your payment. Please note that due to shipping cost increases by the Postal Service effective May 14, 2007 , if your item is not paid for and shipped prior to this date, t may be additional shipping charges required other than as quoted within the shipping calculator. International Bidders : Your payment is due within 48 hours of auction close via Paypal only. Payment by any other method will be considered non-payment. Our apologies, but our banks are charging for clearing international money orders. USA Bidders : Your payment is due within 7 days from auction close via Paypal, or personal check/money order. No Cows, No Chickens...please use the checkout system with ebay to advise us of your payment intention at the close of the auction. Insurance is recommended , and not included in the shipping calculator quote. Please do not anticipate that we will "make good" any item damaged by the USPS or UPS systems due to mishandling. If you do obtain insurance, and have a claim, we will provide you with the proper paperwork, but you must proceed from your end with the claim. You may be asked to provide the original box and contents to the USPS or UPS prior to their processing the claim. Failure to do so will nullify their requirement to reimburse you for your loss.
