Antique Sleepy Eye Large Pitcher With RARE Blue Rim! Monmouth Pottery Western StonewareThis genuine antique Western Stoneware Sleepy Eye large pitcher was made by Monmouth Pottery in Monmouth, IL between 1906 and 1937.It has the incredibly rare, and highly desirable blue rim.It measures approx. 7.75" tall at highest point (bottom to spout); 6 1/2" across at base; 8.25" across from spout to outside of handle.Vivid dark blue on cream, There are some condition issues ..... 2 flakes/chips that someone filled in with blue, some glaze cracks on the inside that do not go through to other side.Overall, still a very nice piece.
