Thi s is a very n ice antique hanging wire basket or plante r. It is a small size hanging at an overall length of 17". Only the scalloped rim of this basket/planter is adjustable . The basket part is 3 1/4" tall and then with the rim straight up it is 4 3/4" tall. It is 6" across the top of the basket and with the scalloped rim straight out it is 9 1/4" across. The hanging chain is unusual and very neat --it is made of links that are 1" long . It is permanently fixed to the basket in three spots so there are no pesky hooks that are always coming loose. The re are t wo differ ent wire designs. Th is basket planter is in excellent condition with no bends or broken wires and very little rust . T he hook that it hangs from has been bent--that's it. Lots of fun things to use t his sweet little basket for. It would make a great Easter basket . Just please do not fill it with real or glass eggs that could fall through the openings! --but a liner would work. This auction is for the basket/planter only. The gourd egg shown hanging in the picture is just for display and not included. Please let me know if you have any questions.
