You are bidding on an antique solid brass inkwell with a hinged lid and porcelain ink pot. The brass is stamped PEERAGE ENGLAND and probably dates from the early 1900's. It measures 6.75 inches wide x 6.75 inches deep and 3 inches high. Brass has few signs of wear and is in very good condition with no scratches or breaks. T are no stains or cracks on the pot or brass. The dip pen shelf is a lovely floral pattern with background of small squares that look like dice. The top of the stand has a scallop shell with scrolling along the sides. This item is quite heavy.
