Antique Solid Cedar

Wardrobe & Key

This auction is for the really great old solid cedar wardrobe cabinet pictured and described below. This is not one of those thin wobbly ones made with a thin cedar lining. This is constructed completely of cedar. It is solid and has no damage. It has a natural finish. It comes with single large locking door with its original skeleton key which still works smoothly. if you need extra storage this is a great item. The price on these historically climbs high in the spring as people need space for winter clothes storage. Don't snooze.

This item measures 68" tall. It measures 21 1/2" deep from front edge to w it would hit a wall at the back. It measures 33" wide.

This is a very nice piece of heirloom quality antique furniture.

This is the front. These pictures were taken in direct bright sunlight so they are somewhat bleached out. This cabinet has a deep rich aged patina.

This is a view of the top section.

This is a closer view of the middle section.

This is a closer view of the lower section. T is a paint drip on the lower left foot.

This is a sot of side view. The color is more exact to the real item on the side w the sun is not directly shining on it.

This is a view inside. That pole is easily replaced or removed. The present one sags some.

This is a view of the top half of the inside.

This is a view of the bottom half inside.

This is a cedar lined hanging clothes bag that was in this. I have never seen one unused like this one. They are wonderful and we are including it free. It opens up to the length of a cleaners bag and is moth proof.

This is the original skeleton key included.

Never a reserve.

This item is being safely stored in our warehouse in Bel Air, MD 21015. Only 3 miles and 2 turns from I-95 exit 80 just north of Baltimore.

We can store this item in our warehouse free of charge for up to a couple months if needed. We can deliver it ourselves between about Philadelphia and DC for around $100. Closer distances may be cheaper but $50 is about the best were going to do anyw unless you live right in our town which is free. If you prefer to pick it up, that is fine. We are available 24/7 with 24 hours notice via email. If you have a shipping service you use we are happy to coordinate with them but the expense is yours. We do not provide ropes, blankets or any sort of packing.

If you need help getting this item shipped we have sources we deal with regularly.

I can have this item professionally delivered to pretty much any large city in the continental US including the south west coast for $300 or less.

East Coast shipping is much cheaper. Usually $100-250 max. We have trucks running from Florida to NYC regularly so deliveries within 50-100 miles of the I-95 corridor are fastest and cheap. Deliveries along the 64, 81, 20, 70 and 40 corridors are also cheap all the way to the west coast. One of our drivers lives in NYC, one lives in Roanoke, VA and one lives in Chicago. They each come weekly. Because of that we can provide the cheapest and fastest shipping along the whole east half of the country. We do the west coast every 3-4 weeks. We pretty much go anyw cheap but our shippers don't go to the west coast much north of Southern LA area CA. Locations farther north west could be as soon as one week or as long as 6 weeks. If you live in some off the wall town that is an hour from the nearest highway obviously it will cost a little more. Please ask me for a fast guaranteed quote if you are in doubt.

I want to stress, we will help and usually handle the entire process but all arrangements and costs are still the buyers responsibility.
