This is a superb antique Solid Oak Secretary Desk with Bookcase top or Curio China Display Cabinet Top, dating to the 1920's. The to part has 2 oak doors with uniquely designed inset leaded glass panels, inside t are adjustable height wooden shelves. The desk has a carved pull down flap and inside t are shelves, 'pigeon holes' and a drawer for storing stationery etc. Under the desk compartment t are 3 dovetail jointed drawers, all of which are fitted with the original oak pulls. The desk stands on a sturdy base with runners and stretchers and carved legs. Measurements: 30"wide x 18"deep x 74"high. In good condition, showing only light wear for it's age, this is a good quality piece, the finish is original and has a wonderful rich patina, a superb antique piece!
