Th is is a n ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER CIGA RETTE CASE , with o rnate engrav ing on the front and back . It measures 11 .5 cm long & 7 .8cm wide . It is my belief that this is Persian, but I am willing to be corrected by anyone who knows differently - the hallmark in pic 2 should be easily readable. This piece is in very good condition - apart from the fact that the littl e catch is missing In my opinion, this would be worth repairing, and not terribly difficult for a working jeweller to do - The hinge is in good condition, and the spring which operates the catch is still in place.
