Huge Antique 45 Star American Flag used from 1896-1908 during the Spanish American War Era. I know this is not from the Civil War but I put that on my heading so people interested in Gettysburg items can find this in the search. This Flag is an estate find from a house in Gettysburg Pennsylvania where the flag was flown for many years. The flag was recently on a flagpole and had no issues with tearing or anything. This flag is over 100 years old but it can still be flown as a dailly flag. The flag measures around 9 feet x 6 feet. Great early piece of history. All of the sticthng was done very well and does not seem to be homemade just because the stitching is so straight and perfect. If you have any questions regarding this huge flag please ask.
