Albion Antiek Antique ABC Plate Staffordshire ca. 1840's This auction is for a charming antique English pottery (probably Staffordshire) ca. 1840's child's plate. This plate has a nice molded alphabet border and in the center is a scene of 2 boys that are about to knock a chicken over its head with the text above "Don't Hurt It". Measuring 6-1/8" across this plate is in fine condition with no chips, no cracks and no repairs. T is slight wear and crazing of the glaze from age and use but nothing that detracts from the appearance of this cute little plate.
