Antique STAFFORDSHIRE Pottery Figures / FigurinesPAIR OF SHEPHERDS with DOG, SHEEP & LAMBSFor the condition of these figures, see the pictures below. Note that all the pictures below can be supersized for a closer look. The figure on the right, with the girl and the sheep, measures 10 1/2" in height x 5 1/8" in length x 3" in width. It weighs 1 pound 9.1 ounces. The figure on the left, with the boy and the dog, measures 10 3/4" in height x 5 3/4" in length x 3" in width. It weighs 1 pound 6.9 ounces. It has repair on the top part (see last picture below). Also, the right edge of the pottery, near the left hand of the boy, has what looks like a chip that was touched up with yellow paint. Both figures have crazing. I recently acquired through an international auction house a large collection of Staffordshire pottery figures. These were the property of the family trust of a prominent Southern California collector / patron of the arts. I am currently offering each piece individually for sale with a no reserve auction and a low $9.00 opening bid.Check out my other auctions .
